Built as a changing shed for the swimmers at Balmoral Beach in 1921, the elegant colonial building housing Bathers is the best-looking locker room we’ve seen. Brunch in the café involves homemade beans and ham hock or who-cares-about-calories cakes and fruit mocktails. Owner and chef Serge Dansereau runs a very smooth restaurant operation too. Fine dining dishes include pork belly and calamari that melt in the mouth and light prosciutto-wrapped jew fish as picks. Up there as an ultimate brunch spot.
Came here for dinner and it didn't disappoint. The serve was impeccable and enjoyed each dish for its taste and presentation.
I ordered the scallops and the beef tenderloin both of which were extremely delicious.
The ambience is also incredible overlooking balmoral beach.
Lovely place for breakfast with standard cafe prices. I had the homemade beans with ham and tomato. I wouldn't have minded more than half a tomato but for $20 the rest of the plate was a reasonable size and delicious. Fresh juice is a smaller size glass for $7 so I think it'll be the large for $10 next time. The setting wins the plate however!
