The Coffee Club

My wife and I recently moved to Katherine and have quickly developed a fondness for The Coffee Club. The food has always been fresh and of good quality; their hot chocolate is tasty and always a good drinking temperature (I hate coffee - funny hey!). The clincher for me is the friendly and efficient staff who are almost always smiling and very friendly! I've had nothing but great service!

ATE HERE FOR LUNCH ON 3 OCCASIONS WHILE HOLIDAYING HERE, TRIED THE CALAMARI SALAD AND BRUSHETTA WHICH WERE BOTH VERY NICE, COFFEES VERY GOOD (HOT AND COLD).. PRICES AREN'T CHEAP BUT NOTHING IN DARWIN AND NORTHERN NT IS! NOT MANY LUNCH OPTIONS IN KATHERINE SO THIS IS THE BEST OF THE PICKS. LOTS OF MENU OPTIONS. BUSY BUT LARGE, COOL PLACE WITH SMALL KIDS PLAY AREA.

Whilst ordering my lunch at the Katherine Coffee Club (25/8/10) I spoke to management regarding why the tables are always dirty (unwiped) each time I have visited. They replied by telling me it was because the staff's hands are full when clearing the tables. I said that they could come back out and wipe them afterwards. I got no response and nothing further was said on this matter. 1 hour later when I departed no tables had been wiped and by the way the covers of the menus are filthy from sitting on dirty tables.
