Don't know how you could ask more of this place, it is an absolute joy to stay at and Ross and Bill could not possibly be more obliging. The cleanliness and attention to detail is outstanding and the grounds and gardens are beautiful with not a leaf out of place. If you are looking for a place to stay in Cunnamulla with friendly and helpful people and a great sense of peace and security don't drive past the Country Way it is a cedit to both Bill and Ross. Horrible experience. Booked 6 rooms for them to be cancelled because at the time of the booked didn't write down my phone number to be able to contact me and advise that they hadn't received my faxes which I sent twice (maybe review your own office procedures). The staff member is the rudest person I have ever spoken to. Aggressively and plan rude while I was trying to discuss with them on the phone what had happened. I simply wanted to know what had happened but instead received aggressiveness over the phone.. Lack of customer service skills and basic communication ability. I would never recommend anyone stays here. I should have read the other negative reviews before booking as they are all spot on!....
You rang for 5 rooms, and were to fax through names, phone numbers and
credit card details to confirm on the 16/05/13. No fax. You rang 17/05/13 to add a room and were faxing through details for all rooms. No fax. The men
arrived in town on 18/05/13, and phoned wanting accommodation, we were out at dinner. We had no booking for the men, no names or details, and assumed their plans or yours had changed. The men said you often did this,
so if they didn't make it here, you would avoid the 24 hour cancellation policy.
You rang on 20/05/2013, and were quite aggressive, unfortunately you struck
the staff member, who 'says it as it is'. Yes, I failed to get your contact details, but it is not my job to confirm your mens accommodation, I believe
that is yours. So this unpleasant misunderstanding????, could have been avoided, if we had both done our jobs. Thanks.
You must have your wires crossed here. I called to see what had happened and was bombarded by rudeness. Sorry but I'm shocked staff would talk this way to a customer.
I never raised my voice, accused or swore at anyone unlike what tone I received. So i'm not sure what your referring to when you say 'Tell it as it is', that's just another excuse for rudeness and its not tolerated.
Playing the blame game and not taking my comment as a learning curve for yourself and that poor excuse is really bad. You have a look yet to record guest names and numbers? Checked your fax is working?
I told you the second time I called that I had sent it through and did send through again. Maybe then you should have got my phone number?
I wouldn't suggest anyone stays here and to take into account all negative comments.
