We hired the Gleam Team to do a "For Sale" Clean, and were gifted 30 hours to help my family as we had been going through a tough time.

All of us have used the Gleam Team exclusively although at different times for the past 6 years for all types of cleaning requirements.
I was the first to engage the Gleam Team for a builders clean in 2008 and since then I have used them for regular cleans.
During that time I have had 2 cleaners who despite their individual personalities have fitted in beautifully and always performed above my expectations.
My friends have also used the Gleam team for regular cleaning but also bond returns, builders cleans and spring cleans.

WARNING - The Gleam Team / Gleam Team Clean, Warners Bay
We found the whole experience of dealing The Gleam Team very poor. We believed the standard of domestic cleaning to be extremely poor & our property was damaged during the time they were there. When trying to politely resolve this we were met by aggression, insults and threats of defamation of a personal business which had nothing to do with the clean (it was for our home, not our business). The level of customer service provided by them was abysmal.
Cupboards had not been cleaned properly, marks were left on walls, dirty drips left on newly laid carpet and scratched floor boards from where furniture had been moved.
We're hoping to get some kind of reimbursement by going through The Department of Fair Trading, but mostly want to warn others to avoid Gleam Team Clean (Warners Bay) Cleaning Services and the resultant disappointment and stress it has caused us.
There's an old saying that the customer is always right.
This statement presumes that both parties are acting in good faith and in the vast majority of cases this is true.
That's why we've adopted certain working practices to eliminate the risks of doing any damage and take pride in doing the best job we can as it's own reward.
So despite our offer ASAP to come back to inspect "the damage done" and in accordance with our usual practice of completing the job, we were refused.
All communications were in emails and despite there being a short deadline they were unable to pick up the phone to give us a call at any time.
Therefor we weren't able to verify their claims but we did refund half of the money.
It's now been nearly 3 months since they posted the review claiming to be pursuing us for compensation through Dept of Fair Trading and so far we've heard nothing.
We had EXACTLY THE SAME EXPERIENCE. Not only did they break items & damage our bench tops, when I tried to address with them they were aggressive, dismissive & unapologetic.
