I want to compliment staff at The Good Guys , Brighton small appliances department. Yesterday I managed to jam my almost brand new juicer! I was so miserable because I am having cancer treatment and make raw veggie juices daily to support my immune system. The team at The Good Guys Brighton were so empathetic and tried to fix it. In the end they actually replaced the whole thing! I am so grateful!
I had an appt yesterday at 2.30pm with their air conditioning service representative Dharmasiri which I paid $80 for and he did not call or turn up. I work full time and have little flexibility. I took time off work and your staff member confirmed and did not show. I want a refund and i want someone else to do the service.
I have emailed good guys brighton twice. I have called them and not gotten through and I have called the good guys home services team twice today (once at 9.30am and the other at 12.30pm) and both times been told i will get a call in the next hr and I have not spoken to anyone and Zaib was the salesperson who has not called me back.
A day later they have made no effort to contact me in any way.
This is beyond a below average service and I would not recommend them.
Service didn't exist. Was there for ten minutes. Nobody came over. They were all standing around in groups chatting to each other. Hardly any other customers there
One of them yelled at me and asked what I wanted and then paged someone who never came anyway
Rang head office who told me head of the store would contact me within 3 to 5 days
That was 10 days ago
STAY AWAY FROM THE BRIGHTON STORE IF YOU WANT SERVICE AT ALL
Went in this morning, tyo buy a front loader.
Guy called Peter was absolutely helpful. Explained what I was looking for and why, and he didn't try to upsell, instead offering 2 machines which happened to be below my budget.
Arranged delivery, gave me a card with his number, if there was any problem.
I've been dealing with them for over 10 years, and be it a computer part, rice cooker of large thing, always felt welcomed, and given straight answers.
Only complaint -- no free coffee -- all those machines, and not one being used. ;-)
