The Good Guys

Recently bought a washing machine from these guys at Booval. Service was good until I asked for machine to be delivered and installed. Once delivery day came next day, paperwork only said drop off and not install. When conversation with salesperson clearly was stated to deliver and install. With a small child, not convenient and very disappointed.

I am not happy the way the sale person handled the job. Needs more training when it comes to customer service. I instruct them that I will pay for the delivery and installation. My instruction to them is so clear, in fact, they even ask me the address to where it will be delivered. I gave them the address and they typed it to the computer and printed the receipt and I paid in full. After 5 days, management spoke to me that I have to pay for delivery fee.

The service was okay but they charge you extra to move your old appliance out of the way when it would only take them 2 minutes max. You pay hundreds in their store so I think it's a service they should provide. I bought a fridge a few years ago from other store and the staff kindly moved my fridge outside and down the stairs happily and free of charge and that's more effort then what these guys would have to do.

My husband and I bought our kitchen appliances from The Good Guys at Booval and the service we received was excellent. We knew exactly what we wanted and they offered us an unbeatable deal. No other similar store could come close to their prices and at the same time they did not try to upsell us on anything. They were very easy and pleasant to deal with which is, in my experience, very unusual for salespeople in retail stores like this. I also found the salesman we dealt with gave very honest opinions when he had the opportunity to promote more expensive items. I returned to purchase my husband a DSLR camera for Christmas and again, although I dealt with a different salesperson I found the same excellent service. We will definitely be going here for all our appliances and electronics in future.
