Called into this large store, looking for a coffee machine. The service was excellent, the sales person showed me a range of different coffee machines and explained the differences. Also brewed me up a very nice coffee. Decided what I wanted. The whole transaction was very easy and relaxing. Wonderful service, will return
I have come in here a couple of times but have found the sales and service quite 'unattentive' each time. There has been few staff around on the floor and the ones that were that I have dealt with had not been that helpful either, the enthusiasm to be there was fair and few to say the least.
Went to Mile End to purchase an oven -- looking for something $1500-$2500 . Asked where to look and rude "sales"assistant just pointed me in the direction and did not offer to help. Browsed for a while and then needed assistance -- the chap working there was busy with another customer but ignored me so after a while I asked if anybody else was available- he then got on the microphone and paged for assistance. I watched the 3 or 4 staff who were visible closely-- no reaction-- he then paged again and the totally disinterested young woman who I had spoken to originally then reluctantly shuffled to me. I asked her about delivery and installation costs and she had no idea but had to ask another young woman-- the price quoted was ridiculous .
I subsequently went to Harvey Norman Cheltenham where Mark from the oven section gave us outstanding service and sold us what we wanted/neededread more
Went to purchase a LG dvd recorder. Price at good guys was more than at another shop. When told assistant went and checked and matched price. I then said that policy was to refund 110% the difference but was told that is only after you have purchased. So I lost out for being upfront. Got dvd recorder home and was unpacking it to find the following, batteries for remote was already inside remote, manual was for a tv not dvd recorder and the dvd recorder already had something recorded on the hard drive. I called LG to confirm that batteries should not be in remote, correct manual should have been in the box and that nothing should have been recorded on hard drive. I then called Good Guys and asked to speak to the management, receptionist didn't want to transfer me but did eventually. I told management that I wanted a brand new one waiting for me that afternoon. Went in that afternoon and a new one was waiting for me but no apology or sorry for inconvenienceread more
