The Loose Caboose is a welcoming contemporary cafe located in the restored Bowden Railway Station. The owners have always loved Adelaide, old buildings, coffee, great food and creating an atmosphere where people love to meet and have a memorable time.
Set in a old converted railway station, it's fantastic little gem hidden out of Adelaides downtown limelight. They offer a great selection of modern cafe fare as well as expertly prepared coffee. I had a single origin pour over which was a stand out from recent memory.
Set a little further out in Hindmarsh, this old railway station has been converted into one of Adelaides best brunch spots ( if the crowds are anything to go by.) They make a mean coffee, and their breakfast board sure hits the spot. Lets not forget the free sparkling water on tap too! A must! #reviewtowin
Love how this place is open on public holidays. Caught up with a friend last minute and knew I could count on coming here, knew the food would be good also. Had some new items on the menu and my one of them was the buttermilk panacotta - deeeeelicious!! I want to come back for more!
Located just outside of the city, behind The Gov, Hindmarsh, across from the AEC is this quirky chic caf. Came across it googling for brunch spots open over the Easter public holidays. Really liked the venue, atmosphere and menu, it was the perfect setting for a lovely brunch on what was a quite public holiday. It seemed as if it was the only place open for brunch as people were constantly walking in and out, all with smiles. The service was good and the food was splendid (found the Haloumi very salty though). I ordered a fresh juice (twice) called The Hobbit and the flavors were delightful but my only complaint would be that I wish it was served cold by adding ice. Other than that, its a really good place. I definitely would come back and also recommend it.
