A great plac e for breakfast. New owners now and still a great place for breakfast. Bit crowded for lunch on Saturdays but so popular
Thank you very much indeed for your wonderful feedback. This is what we take as a true business success and a great achievement in customer service every time we received a brilliant review such as yours.
This is a trendy little cafe inside Macquarie Shopping Centre. Bright and open, it was seats to get a table. I sat up at the bar and service was extremely prompt. I wanted the special (a steak salad), but unfortunately it was sold out. I went for the “crayola” - a crunchy Sonoma granola with Greek Yoghurt with fruit and honey and cinnamon. I also got a fresh mango iced tea that went well on the hot day. They have a great range of coffee including a tasting board and some insane milkshakes topped with chocolate that kids next to me were enjoying! Some time!
From The Missing Piece management team, we thank you very much for your kind and encouraging words that make all our hard work and dedication truly rewarding.
I have visited The Missing Piece one time for brunch on a Sunday with a friend. It is very very popular, had to wait for a table. This suprised me as it is simply a cafe inside a shopping centre. By my standards this is not exactly destination dinning, more a place chosen due to convenience when shopping. That being said, air con is obviously excellent which is a plus in poor weather conditions. Service was fast and friendly and food was tasty.
If you're ever swamped by the people in Uniqlo Macquarie Center and needed to get away from it all, just out front is The Missing Piece. It's the cafe that occupies a space that seems oddly isolated from other food vendors. There's always a line and some hype about this cafe and I too, like a sheep, conformed and waited for a table.
My friend ordered something from the non-standard menu that plated nicely and deserved a picture. The taste was okay he remarks but I can tell heread more
