A few weekends ago I was suffering some Mondayitis and having experienced a stay in Lady Bay I went for a wonderful breakfast at this old time cafe. I actually felt like I had gone back in time. Why ?? Well the genuine friendliness off the lovely staff who treated me and (my now ex) like royalty. I was feeling a little down until I sat down at one of their outside tables. English Breakfast tea was served with crispy bacon and toast, and hot raisin Bread. The waiter even sat down when he had a quiet moment and joked and had me laughing so much . Both of the waiters were very professional as was the female waitress, who happily worked and chatted to customers. I wanted to stay all day , but alas had to leave and travel forward in time again , back to boring Adelaide. But on top of the brilliant service and delicious food, the price was only $12.00! I will return one week end very soon but next time I shall stay for lunch.
I agree with the above review. We had lunch there a few weeks ago, the food was delicious, the service great and the wine was yummy as well. The lunch menu had a terrific selection for vegetarians as well as non vegetarians. This was greatly appreciated by our vegetarian guest. The artwork on the walls was much admired. We will go again. The price was very reasonable as well.
