While waiting for our boat hire time our holiday party decided to dine in at The Rivermark Caf for a hearty breakfast and I am very glad this was the venue we chose. Thankfully the day was beautiful so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the picturesque river views. The staff were wonderful stopping for a few minutes to have a chat with us about our holiday plans and provide recommendations for local activities to do in Port and its surrounds. Honestly cannot fault a thing. The service was impeccable, the wait times minimal and the prices fairly reasonable for the portion sizes and coffee satisfaction. I went with my favourite, eggs benedict which was cooked perfectly and there were no complaints from my dining partners with their big breakfasts.
Great location, great views, perfect service and will definitely be back next time we are travelling through Port Macquarie.
I had the best time yesterday at The Rivermark Caf, having lunch with my cousins Richard and Patsy Love. The food was delicious and the service was 5 star. On entering the caf I was so impressed with the service given by very skilled and intelligent young woman that catered for us. It is so refreshing these days to experience such good service. Will dine again on my next visit to Port Macquarie. Cheers again

One of the best cafes in Port. Beautiful setting right on the banks of the Hastings River. Lovely outdoor setting with pretty river views. Probably better to avoid the outdoor option on windy days though as it can be unpleasant. Very good (Merlo) coffee makes a rich strong cap. Nice range of cakes and great menu choices for breakfast and lunch. Very tasty, innovative and fresh. Only negative is it could be considered a little on the 'costly' side but overall not too bad for price I guess. Well worthwhile though as the food, coffee and setting make it a 4.5 star experience.
