This was my first experience at this salon and the last. Not a pleasant experience. The manager was not friendly and seemed very uninterested when discussing what I was looking for. The result - not what I thought I was getting - they clipped my cavalier's beautiful coat off like a lamb. Horrible! $85 for disappointment. I had said I like his long coat and wanted it neatened, trimmed underneath for toileting and feathers kept. No feathering ...just a clipped lamp. And when I picked him up - she told me he was a lazy dog. Nice.
$95 to fully shave my dog? Really? if you are looking for a place that they just care about spending minimum time with the dog, with no customer care policy and on top of this too expensive, then come to this place. Our dog has some knots, but they did not even care about trying to get around them and make it look good – Definitely this is a place I won’t come again.
Hi Ramses. Thank you for taking the time to review our business. I'm sorry that today's visit was not a pleasant one. Unfortunately as we hadn't seen Pepi since March, he was very over grown and quite matted (as was explained at length when you dropped off this morning 40 minutes late) and the only option was to clip the coat short and start again. Matting is a difficult thing that often starts at the skin and we have to go extremely close to remove it and not cause pain as we groom by humanity before vanity. Dematting a schnauzers coat to the extent that Pepi was would have cause extreme pain and damage to the skin which we will not do. Clipping close also takes a lot of time and care to not cause injury which is why the extra charge. To prevent this in future perhaps having Pepi groomed professionally more often may help. We wish you the best in your future with your new groomer.
My husband and I have a very nervous miniature poodle that we have had terrible trouble with at other salons from them not giving her the correct clip to not being able to do her at all and she always came out shaking and scared. Elisa gave me a full tour of her salon before we even made an appointment and introduced us to the other groomers too who all seemed lovely. The whole place had a very relaxing feel to it and our little girl seemed to like Elisa and was taking treats from her which she never does. We had to wait a while to get an appointment but it was worth waiting for. Elisa did an amazing job with her. Wonderful hair cut and we've never seen our little girl so relaxed. She was ready within 2 hours so my husband and I had lunch up the road while we waited. We can highly recommend Elisa and her salon. They take every care with the dogs and treat them like their own. We are looking forward to our next visit.
