The kitchen is visible from where you order which allowed me to see how untidy it was when I arrived. I guess you could say I went around brunchtime, so they may have had a lot of customers and that's why it appeared unkept.
I ordered a bacon and egg roll which I figured would be a good test of character so to speak.
I arrived home with the roll and actually thought about how fast they had it made. I opened the wrapper and noticed that the bread resembled that of Coles or Woolwoths sesame bread rolls. I opened it and looked at the bacon which appeared not properly cooked. I gave the roll a good chance and had about half of it. I threw it in the bin and won't be going back.
The bacon was wasn't cooked. The bread roll was almost like leather and there were so many other things which were wrong about something so simple. First impressions are the most important and I won't be going back.
Omg that gorgeous management has gone, either that or she is on holiday. She ( Liz I think) was the best on the coffee machine. Coffee there now is bad. Other menagement wears singlets and doesn't ever smile- needs dress sense and professionalism. Food ordinary and windows dirty
I was presented with a plate of diced packet bacon on turkish (which on hindsight reminded me of dog food), and a mostly raw egg on the side. (This was their version of a bacon and egg roll)
When I told the wait staff I couldn't eat the egg like that, they took it away, microwaved the whole plate, and brought it back - the egg still undercooked, just rubberier on top.
I've had better bacon and eggs at a train station.
I understand the pressures of running a kitchen, but how hard is it to cook an egg??
Learnt my lesson though. Next time this happens I'll just walk away.
