I was lucky enough to attend a ‘Cocktail Masterclass’, held at the Winston Hills. Not being from the area, and given the night involved alcohol, availed myself of public transport options and caught the bus from Wynyard. An easy 1 hour trip, accompanied by reading a book made it quite pleasant and I was dropped right at theread more
After eating here a few times and loving it, we decided to host my boyfriend's 21st here. The area we booked out looked amazing and the staff were incredibly easy to deal with and very helpful throughout the entire process. There was no room hire fee which was super convenient, we only had to pay for the food and drinks. The food was also very good on the night and wasn't too expensive compared to other places we checked out. The night went off without a hitch and I definitely recommend hosting a birthday party or similar event at The Winston :)
After living in the area for 3 years, finally met up with a mate here on a Thursday night.
Very nice outlay and in the beer garden, with it being warm weather, they had mist fans spraying around which was refreshing.
Drinks were a pricey ($8.00 for a schooner of Hahn Super Dry but only 50c more for a boutique beer) and wouldn't expect that so far from the CBD but the food was quite nice and a generous helping.
Would definitely go back again. It's not as close or as cheap as the Bull & Bush which is only 200 metres from me, but I'd rather the Winsto.
I was there for a Mothers Day dinner this year and everything went well. The food was great - served nicely and tasted as great as it looked. The ambience was lovely - relaxed comfort. The staff were professional and polite. I had noticed a manager was dealing with a very difficult customer but managed to keep his cool - wasn't hard to notice the situation as we were some of the last ones left in dining. We didn't get his name but he was quite tall and had a darker/tanned complexion so cudos to him for his professionalism. Overall good experience and would recommend people to visit this place.
Hi Guys, this is a beauty biz, not a restaurant, I am certain you have made a mistake....
