Located on Elizabeth Street in Redfern, this converted warehouse has a cool kid feel about it with its dimly lit setting. We got here early and luckily we did as about 1030 it was packed and a queue had formed. We got seated straight away and the main reason we visited was to sample the Celebrating Truffles menu. The service was friendly and quite attentive. The kitchen was under the pump creating many a dish topped with a shaving of truffle.
We opted to share Roasted Peking Duck Angel Hair Pasta, Loaded Mushroom Toastie, and Truffle Cookies & Cream. The pasta had lots of small pieces of duck in a slightly sweet creamy sauce. The truffles on top gave it a delicious earthy flavour. The toastie was crammed full of mushrooms and spinach and again ...read more
This place is pretty dope.
Food is really good! But the menu needs more choices. I feel sorry for vego's or vegans cause your options here are ultra limited. BUT if you do get something, it's going to be amazing, the chef(s) are great.
Coffee here is 8.5/10 for sure. NEVER below that level.
Pastries are alright here too but again, choices are limited and not the best.
So, the service here is wonderful. I have never been served here without a smile or a cheeky little chat. They're quick, they're professional, well presented, diverse and attentive.
Service here is seriously a 9-10/10.
Prices might seem high at first, but the place is huge and they have a lot of staff who are all trained really well. They deserve to be paid correctly.
Good on you Three Williams. smashing it.
Ohhh baby. The food here is so good. So is the coffee, so is their ice teas and sodas! I've had about 4 different dishes from this place and all were mouth watering. Will definitely be coming back. The service is always great! The only thing is I do wish there was more natural light in the place, but maybe that's the underground look they're going for.
I have mixed feelings about this cafe. The food that I ordered (wild mushrooms on sourdough) came out cold. I didn't complain about them because I was hungry and in a rush. The flavors were nice though although I couldn't really taste any truffle. The mango yogurt my friend ordered was too sweet and didn't really taste like mango yogurt. It tasted like Jalna vanilla yogurt from the tub with a whole lot of fancy mango/ jelly things on top. My chai almond milk latte was bland. Over priced too.
