This is a great winery to stop at and it will save you the trip all the way up Tambourine Mountain! The food is really well priced. You can get a t-bone for $28! They also do great platters and tasting plates. The wine expert will run you through all the different wines from sparklings right through to ports. They can stage this around your eating which is a great flow (ie sparkling and whites before food and reds and ports after). He will explain to you what food goes with what wine and teach you about matching up the flavours. It is very informative. The feel of the place is great and its really casual. It has a lovely setting and the staff are very friendly. The kitchen is run by one chef and he does a great job. Their function prices are also very good - a lot better than other areas on the Coast. They have live music over lunch time on weekends too. I recommend making a booking - especially sundays. Also ask them about their wine club. It's free to join and youread more
