Tides Cafe & Restaurant

I was at this place on saturday to hear who i believe to be the management carrying on yelling at staff. The coffee was cold when i complained the response was well thats how we make it the food was ok never will i return. Disrespectful.

I have had coffee and banana bread at Tides twice now . First time was so bad my husband returned the coffee and we threw the stale banana bread in the bin. A few months later was in swansea again so thought I'd give it another go ...coffee drinkable this time but the stale banana bread straight in the bin

Great Cafe & Restaurant... I have been a regular customer for 2 years now I love the coffee & highly recommend for a lovely, relaxed dining experience overlooking the lake.

Great experience!! Had lunch on the weekend with my husband for our anniversary and would like to thank the staff for the great service.. Husband said the scotch fillet was cooked to perfection, I had the lobster and it was worth every dollar.
Would recommend you try this cafe restaurant, views are great and you can go for a beautiful walk along the water once your finished.
Will certainly be booking for Mother's Day.

Last Sunday me and my husband were greeting at the door by two staff members who were both very polite and seated us straight away, one of them asked us if we require menus and we said no were just having coffee. When one of the staff came to take our order I decided I wanted to have cake and asked the staff what kinds of cake they had that day, they told me it was banoffi. As i had never heard of banoffi before i asked them to explain what it was. While they were explaining to me the management staff stormed over and slammed a menu on the table in front of my husband and I and yelled at the staff saying "this is why we have menus! Stop wasting time standing there explaining what is on the menu!" I tried saying to the management staff that it was me who said I didn't want a menu and the staff member tried explaining "she was asking about the banoffi, its not on the menu" but management staff quickly stormed away not paying any attention to me and still ...read more
