Price that they tell you as you sit down is not the price they charge you :(
I was charged an extra $10 after getting acrylic nails done when I questioned this and asked to speak to the manager I was in formed it was 'the shade of pink I choose' 'if not that pink, price is less'.
Seems very unethical to charge that way without prices that clearly display that...
I would avoid this nail bar. Had a shellac done on Sunday and the first nail chipped in under 24 hours. Two days later 3 more nails chipped. Went to talk to Tokyo on Thursday as wanted to give them the opportunity to fix this issue and the male manager was extremely rude. Initially a female attendant tried to blame the chipping on my nails being too sharp (my nails were cut short by them!) Then the male said they would re-do the shellac but I had to do it either straight away or in next 48 hours. I had my baby with me so impossible to do it straight away and I am away the next two days. It's ridiculous that I should be given a time limit when it was their fault that the shellac didn't do what it is supposed to do - last 1 - 2 weeks. The whole point of shellac is it should last - otherwise I would have just paid for regular nail polish. Rather than apologise for not applying the shellac correctly - the manager was rude and said he was happy for me to leave. As I promised him, read more
