Despite good initial service from the rest of the team (reception and juniour salesman), it was an absolutely deplorable sales experience at Travis Honda when they brought in the salesman. My elderly parents went into the dealership to purchase a used car with a set budget in mind. The sales person, Brett tried to intimidate my parents into increasing their budget. Yelled at them to listen to him when they wouldn't budge, spoke condescendingly and spoke over them repeatedly. Absolutely disgusting way to speak to an elderly couple simply to make a sale or hit a target. Would not recommend to anyone.
Poor customer service experience. I currently have a Honda Civic 2013 purchased from Mornington Honda Dealer which is due to be changed over as the novated lease expiring. My car just started telling me my keyless entry battery needed to be changed. After trying to source the info with not much luck as there is no obvious (screws) way of opening the device I called Mornington Dealer. They told me bring it in as it easily broken and they would put a new battery in free of charge. I work in Seaford and live in Frankston, thought I'd go to Frankston and also check out new cars. The receptionist was very quick to point me in the direction of the service centre which is offsite as they can open the device. So I didn't bother discussing a new car. I drive to the service centre and was charged $10 for a new battery. After this experience of being charged and messed around, I wont be purchasing my new HRV from Frankston, as I think they should be looking after Hondaread more
I recently put a deposit down with Travis Honda on my credit card for one of their used cars. I did not sign a contract or other paperwork and a few days later, I decided not to proceed with the purchase, mainly due to some insecurity around my employment. I e-mailed the sales staff for a refund of the deposit and a few days later, they replied that I had exceeded my 3-day cooling off period by the time I had informed them that I did not want to proceed with the purchase. I put it to them, with a copy to the dealer principal, to ask how any 3-day cooling off period could apply since I had not signed a contract. I never heard back from anyone so it was clear that Travis Honda did not intend to refund the deposit.
I then contacted Consumer Affairs Victoria and a week later, I received a refund cheque in the mail.
Overall, very poor customer service . And very annoying that I had to resort to Consumer Affairs Victoria.
I purchased my Honda from Travis Honda after visiting several dealerships in the Victoria region. The staff were extremely helpful and made the stressful process of buying a new car seamless. I cannot rate them enough from level of service, to professionalism and care factor. Thank you.
