My partner and I bought a 5x7 trailer ($800) from these guys mid July 2013.
Firstly they tried to sell it to us with BALD TYRES! Which apon complaining they returned with barely legal tredded tyres saying "it's the best we can do".
Secondly, within six months, the rust became phenominal, paint peeled so we decided to sand it back and repaint it properly ($200 later). Pulling off the lights on the rear of the trailer we found the cables aren't even soldered together, but twisted and taped.
Not to mention, both tail lights/indicators are half full of water which is a complete mind boggle as 1. They're supposed to be sealed units and 2. The water won't seep out no matter what we try.
Very disappointed, we both are.
If you are looking for a decent box trailer, definitely look elsewhere.
Please be smart, save yourself the trouble.
We have been taking our cars to TRG for a while now and we were always happy with the service, until this last time. Our car was playing up - kept stalling and difficult to start. We dropped the car in on a Thursday and told them this. The car was there for the day and we were told it was ready to be picked up that afternoon which we did. The next day the car broke down in the middle of traffic and had to be towed back to TRG. This was on a Friday. We received no phone call - nothing at all until I decided to call them late Monday. They advised they were looking at the fuel pump and a couple other things. We picked up the car the next day and the cost was $450. So far, we have paid $650. Incredibly, the car was STILL not running well after this. The car went back for a third time, and this time they found a ...read more
I feel for you guys big time, I can relate to this big time. Only thing is if you do not get everything in writing it will do you no good. I learned a valuable lesson about diarising notes, requesting written quotes and emails... oh, and never going back to TRG for anything ever.
Always there to help out. Since the day i got my car, Grant and Zac has always made sure i got home a happy customer. I am a car enthusiast and there's nothing I'd want more than the best treatment from people who actually care about my car. Highly recommended.
Only thing is, I wished they'd use their dyno.
