Uncle Nev's Upper Plenty Trail Rides

My ride was fantastic. My daughter came with me and it was my mothers day present. Both of us are experienced riders that have had a break from riding. We were able to have a dam good gallop whil le the beginner riders and horses kept calmly walking. Unbelievable. Great stalf, gorgeous willing horses. Dont expect the horses to be in show condition, that would be unfair but these horses were in perfect trail riding condition. Well shod good coats and well covered. Very contented horses that did their job beautifully. Very happy rider, I will be back, thanks Judy. ( my horse) and Mel , my daughter

After being there a second time, the people, the horses and the excellent ride has one wishing to come back to ride again and again.

The standard 3-hour horse trail meanders through Australian countryside forests with up and down hills with the occasional trot and exhilirating gallop under the careful supervision of the highly professional staff. We were also lucky enough to pass by an echidna on this particular occasion!

Although it's located about 1hr north from the CBD, the friendliness of their staff, the laid back nature of the whole ride and the quality snack break in between more than compensates for the distance. Furthermore, the pricing of this ride will definitely have me coming back again!

As an experienced rider, it's getting harder and harder to find a great place to ride, who lets you do more than trot. Uncle nevs has become a fast fav with me and my riding buddies, so much so that we drive 160km round trip to go there!! They have awesome horses, something for everyone really, and the scenery is amazing. The people are so welcoming and friendly, and everyone is greeted with a smile and nice word!
The prices are more than reasonable (too cheap really for 3 hours of riding, with refreshments included), and the more experienced riders are guarenteed a canter (sometimes a gallop!) Highly highly recommended!!!!!!

Fantastic 3 hour trial ride. Lots of fun and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Will be back!

The best horse ride I have ever been on. Friendly staff and great horses. If you want to have fun and see some great views this is a must!
