I stopped at the United service station on the New England highway while on a long road trip for a quick bathroom break before continuing on my trip... I was however made to wait for 15 minutes as the station was ‘closed’, the staff ( looked like 3 JUNOUR females) were rude and in no hurry to provide any kind of decent customer service. In this time 3 other cars were made to leave the service station as no fuel was being supplied.
After I was allowed through the locked front door with a snarky comment, I used the bathroom to find cleaning equipment in one of the cubicles.
Next I went to the counter for hot food and was told that no food was to be cooked and they will not be cooking for the rest of the night, this was at 7pm...

Im not saying this man purposely over charged me a dollar, but the fact that he didn't hesitate to refund me the dollar without checking the price himself and just taking my word for it was very suspicious. I then nicely asked the man for his name as I didn't notice a name tag and he quietly mumbled a name which I could not understand due to his ethnic background. I have just written to unitedread more
