My husband and I built our first home this year. Naturally, wanting the best of everything we contacted Ushan blinds before the completion of our build. We engaged with Ushan with our house plans to get a free measure and quote, we told him about our vision/colour scheme and security concerns for the house and he was extremely helpful in going through all our options and colours. The quality of our blinds and security doors are exceptional! Which brought a peace of mind when moving into a developing area. Unfortunately we cannot say that we received excellent customer service right through to the end. Duminda who owns the family business, failed to return on the day that he had promised to do the final touches to our security doors. There was no courtesy phone call to say that he was not coming as promised. When I did call Duminda to see if he was still coming, he gave many excuses to why he was not coming now.
After calling Duminda, he reassured me that he will be coming on Monday to complete the job. It was 2:00 pm and we had not heard anything from Duminda, so I did a another follow up call to see if he was still coming. His response to me was quite sharp and rude with him saying that he is up on a ladder at another job and how can he come to me to do my job when he is now on the phone talking to me and has to finish that job.
