Poor Customer Service.
We tried to order last minute chocolates before Easter and most online sites made it clear they could not deliver - fair enough. Vanderwee offered a next day delivery service for which we paid extra. They were delivered 11 days later (4 working days taking into account bank holidays, some of which we were unaware of being outside Australia). We were prepared to put it down to experience until we received an email asking us for feedback. I said I was disappointed that the website accepted the order when they obviously could not deliver, and charged us extra for 'express delivery', and I thought I was reasonably polite. We received their order on the Thursday prior to Easter. That order was shipped and was on it's way within 4 hours. The customer paid indeed for express delivery on the next BUSINESS day. The delivery destination selected was Bentley in WA. That destination is outside the next business day delivery network of Australia Post Express & can take up to 5 business days to reach it's destination. It was delivered the 4th business day. Unfortunately no interstate deliveries are done during weekends or pubic holidays hence it was delivered later than they expected. Delivery details are always posted on our delivery page. If the UK based customer orders on Easter Thursday and requests delivery the next business day, that is fine but requires that the destination is within the next day network. This was not the case. In response to the comments - They just doesn't get it! We know we ordered late but some companies can do it. The point is they shouldn't have taken the money if they couldn't do it. And why does they keep saying we are abusing them! Unbelievable!
I ordered a box of this chocolate. It was shipped from NSW to VIC and arrived with the chocolates completely shattered. I contacted the management and was very unhelpful and arrogant obviously did not believe me nor want to resolve the situation. A lot of money was paid for these chocolates and I also paid for insurance - it is not worth it! Dealing with them was an absolute disgrace!!
