Special Announcement - On the 20/09/2009 Veena Tandoori Indian Cuisine Restaurant Catered for the Bollywood/Punjabi Super Star Mr Babbu Maan, his band, promoters from Adelaide and his touring Party straight after his Stunning Concert at the Adelaide Convention Centre and delivered the food to the Super Star at his City Hotel (The Hyatt on North Tce, Adelaide).
Veena Tandoori is extremely proud with this achievement and the fact that Veena Tandoori Also Sponsored The Live Concert Performed By Mr Babbu Maan at the Convention Centre on 20/09/2009.

Open for dine in from 5:30pm till late every night. We are now offering 10% early bird take-away discount between 5pm to 7pm each night. Also open for lunch on Sundays between 12pm to 2 pm.

My dinning experience at Veena was after being given a gift voucher (a groupon deal) to eat there as a present. The service was slow, probably due to staff shortage. We waited 2.5 hours for the mains and when the mains came out, the rogan Josh (which is meant to mild) was hotter than the vindaloo and the ratia arrived to our table when we had nearly finished our meals. The deep fried naan bread was strange to say the least. The cleanliness of the place was also lacking, the toilets were filthy. Which is no surprise to me as I would not return for sub standard food and such poor customer service.
Booked a table with another couple and both had pre-purchased meal vouchers. We were refused service because the vouchers were from different providers????? If we had reserved separate tables (one for each couple), we would have been allowed to have our meal. They were so rude about it also.
Guessing they get the last laugh though as we have paid for a meal we didn't get........!
