I had an issue with my card expiring and I sent them an email. I had a very quick response via email and they kept my upto date with the progress and finally got a very favourable outcome. I really appreciate your understanding and extending the gift card expiry.
I was quite skeptical about village cinema after I read all the reviews but I had a very positive experience.
Bought 10 Village Gold Class tickets last year in a promotion from Village for $30 each. Used one, now the other 9 do not work on their website. They don't care that they have sold me a product that does not work, and refuse to offer a refund. I was a $1000+ per annum customer, and would often spend $100 or more on food/drinks on each visit. The crazy thing is that I would spend more on tickets if they refunded me the 9 vouchers, as the full price tickets cost more! There's at least three movies that I have not attended while tryin to sort this out, which has probably cost them $300 in food/drinks. What a garbage company. what hopeless customer service.
Unable to book online and no one to call to help.
Village has removed their direct telephone service so we have to email now, however we’re trying to make a booking for today’s session, and it’s a public holiday so their office seems to be closed.
The only way for us to book is to drive to the cinema then book, then go back home for a few hours and return again.
However if the seats dissapear by the time we arrive, we’ve wasted our time. Such a bad system by a company that is trying to cut costs and increase profits.
No customer service at Village!
I booked movie tickets today. I went to the Village site, ticked Doncaster Cinema, logged in as a member (my preferred cinema is also noted as Doncaster on site), I booked my session, paid received the tickets and they were for WERRIBEE Cinema. Wrong! Still not sure how that happened.
I looked for a phone number to sort the error out only to discover that there is no way to speak to a human being at Village, unless you go to the cinema. I went to Doncaster to fix the problem only to be told that I had to email Village. I emailed Village. They said I had to go to Werribee, 45kms and one hour away, who may give me a refund!
When I asked to be contacted by a supervisor the email contact ceased.
VILLAGE CINEMAS OFFER NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I have just gone to see Kingsman 2. Fantastic movie, great effects, brilliant actors. This movie is a perfectly enjoyable movie, and theres no good reason someone wouldn’t enjoy it - but my experience was simply unbearable seeing this at the cinema. Despite being an enjoyable movie, my experience at the cinema was far from enjoyable at all due to the unbearable loud sound. I spent the whole movie blocking my eardrums completely and feeling as though they were about to burst. The noise was so unbearable, that I left the cinema and asked one of the customer service people to "please turn the sound down in cinema 11" of which he replied "sorry, you’ll have to put up with it”. When I asked “why”, he could not put together an answer properly urging me to put up with it. Either he was plain lazy and couldn’t be bothered to asked the projectionists to turn it down, or he wanted me to go deaf. This is simply unacceptable. I went back to the cinema, convincingread more
