After experiencing the longest lockdown in the world in Victoria Village Cinemas refuse to honour our gift cards purchased pre covid by our kids for 200 dollars. Just disgraceful. There was no great movies shown after the lockdowns and vaccine discrimination was lifted. We simply didn't realise they had a expiry date. Other major companies like JBread more
Purchased approx $200 in movie vouchers for Christmas 2019 and due to Covid restrictions and avoidance of enclosed public spaces, have not used in 2020. Vouchers now deemed invalid when online booking and head office simply says 'sorry - expiry was 6 months from purchase' (this is contrary to Consumer law from Nov 1 2019) Totally unhelpful andread more
I had an issue with my card expiring and I sent them an email. I had a very quick response via email and they kept my upto date with the progress and finally got a very favourable outcome. I really appreciate your understanding and extending the gift card expiry.read more
Bought 10 Village Gold Class tickets last year in a promotion from Village for $30 each. Used one, now the other 9 do not work on their website. They don't care that they have sold me a product that does not work, and refuse to offer a refund. I was a $1000+ per annum customer, and would often spend $100 or more on food/drinks on each visit. Village has removed their direct telephone service so we have to email now, however we’re trying to make a booking for today’s session, and it’s a public holiday so their office seems to be closed.
