After 20+ yrs at another Vet Clinic, we changed to Warwick Vet. What a beautiful group of caring, dedicated, professional people. We have visited them on several occasions and found all the staff both friendly caring and knowledgeable. Dr Liz and Dr Fiona are great, to speak with and great with my Rotti. Then sadly on Sat 5th July we made the agonising decision to put our very much loved and adored 13 1/2 yr Rottweiler, Kaiya to sleep. It was heart breaking to say the least...however the staff on the day, Dr Magda and Nurse Jess were just beautiful...so patient..so kind..to both my hubby and myself and more importantly to my Kaiya ( who went with dignity and lots of lots of love) ALL the staff here are wonderful, caring and so professional. I am so pleased we made the change. Thank you to all the staff, you are amazing.
I live 20-40 minutes away from this clinic (depending on traffic) but I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff are all friendly but professional, and my pets have been seen by 3 of the resident vets - all of whom were brilliant. I want to give special mention to Dr Claire Lang, who sees my rats. In my experience rats are hard to treat as there really isn't a lot of information or available medicine/specialists in Australia. But Claire has always been very passionate about my little friends, even doing research in her own time to make sure they get the best treatment she can give. I know some people don't consider them as "important" as cats or dogs but they are to me, and I always feel that they are to Claire. I can only assume she applies herself so brilliantly with all her patients, big and small. She is a fantastic and compassionate vet who is easy to talk to and doesn't rush you or make you feel like your opinion doesn't matter. I highly recommend her, and the Warwick ...read more
I recently adopted a cat. It came in part of a package deal including vaccinations and spay, however I had to drive to Warwick if I wanted to keep up with this deal. I was a bit hesitant as I live in Beechboro and even though Warwick isn't too far from me I'd rather support my local businesses. Any way, I did go to Warwick Vet and I am so glad I did. The vet I saw was just lovely. Her name was Liz. She did not rush me out the door like some vets do and she genuinely cared about what I had to say. The other vet I have seen was Fiona and she too was just as nice. The staff on reception where ever so helpful and friendly too. I have since taken my other animals there and will be going there from now on, it is definately worth driving that little bit further to get service like that. Their prices are reasonable too.
Have recently had to use Warwick vets, rather than my usual one, and whilst the vet/staff are very nice, and obviously very knowledgeable, the practice is looking tired, and the front-desk staff (who obviously love animals) were so busy making a fuss of my pet, they didn't listen to what I was saying, and ended up messing-up my pet's next appointment...as I live 20 minutes drive away, I was rather annoyed when, upon arrival for the appointment, I was told that my pet hadn't been booked for the procedures that I'd very clearly asked for at the previous visit. I'd rate this vet's as good...but not the best it could be, and I will certainly be sticking to my usual vet in the future.
