Waterloo Station Hotel

As I don't live in near the area at all anymore, when I came down to catch up with friends I made the request to eat here at the Waterloo Station Hotel as I felt like steak and somewhere casual for dining. Did not go wrong with any of the meals we ordered so we were all happy-diners! I have no problem recommending this place, each time I have been I've enjoyed the entree's and mains, sometimes though its a hit and miss with the desserts.

Went there once and won't bother next time. Inflated prices and even though they have an outdoor kids area it really doesn't have a family vibe to it. #reviewtowin

Second time doing a triple-date dinner catch up here with friends. I remember the first time was good, the food was good but the dessert wasn't that great. Just recently coming here, the food again was good, very filing and good serves but again the dessert wasn't that great. Through the window of were the desserts are place, they look so good and tempting but sadly the two times we've been and the different desserts we ordered were not that great at all. Don't know if we should keep trying all of them until we find a satisfying one maybe?

This place has changed a lot since I used to visit the friend who lived next door. In fact I believe that ended up knocking the entire place down and rebuilding it from scratch, and I am really impressed with the result. In fact it has now become one of the better pubs in Salisbury, especially with the beer garden that is attached to the sports bar. As with most suburban pubs, the Waterloo Corner contains a restaurant with play equipment for the children, a pokies room, a bottle shop, and a sports bar. I generally find myself in the sports bar, and the walls of this one are covered with the records of many of the local artists who have gone on to become quite famous (including Jimmy Barnes of Cold Chisel). The only thing that I miss from the old pub was the all you can eat restaurant, but then again I've never felt that I ever got value for money from those places.

The Waterloo Station Hotel is located on Waterloo Corner Road in the northern suburbs. It is family friendly and has a big dining area, kids play area, porkies, bar and beer garden area. I really like this place, good location down near my area and good venue for a good and satisfying feed. Staff area always friendly and helpful and service is pretty quick each time I've been there. The menu has a good variety on there and you can picky our cuts of meat through the window if you like which steak or ribs, etc. I would recommend this place and I would definitely come back.
