I would not reccommend Westco Motors for repairs. We had a breakdown with our NP 300 Navara which has only done 46000kl. The part should have been claimed under warranty and the service people and mechanic claimed we tampered with the turbo inlet hose sensor holder. We were on the road with a van heading north for Christmas when we broke down. RACQ got us going by glueing the sensor holder back in place. No part was available until after Christmas. When we got the part replaced at Westco service and they said we tampered with it because it was glued up. So no warranty for this. They expected us to be towed to a Nissan dealer near us (Rockhampton) and wait for the part to arrive on the 27th Dec 2018. Christmas is the 25th Dec. This dealership has no compassion for people who have genuine breakdowns along the road. I would not reccommend this Dealership to anyone. Horrible experience dealing with Westco Nissan. Tried to purchase a new vehicle with them and was offered 2x vehicles at my budget price. I had been in the show room 3 times the week prior to test drive both manual and automatic Nissan Qashqai. Seems like the sales rep made a mistake and the business is covering for him. So when I tried to buy the vehicle at the price that was offered to me he said it was a 'miscommunication'. Sales Manager who was not present at the time the offer was being said to my partner and I basically came across in an agressive manner and offered me a 'moped' for my budget price. Don't trust this business when it comes to the price of the vehicle.... they only want you to come into the showroom and spend more! Not ever going near Westco and as I can see in the reviews on here it seems like it is their sales tactics which are inexcusable.
Absolutely terrible place, I will never buy another car from them or get my car serviced there. Westco is more than happy to take your money (they can't grab it fast enough) but want absolutely nothing to do with you if you have a problem with the BRAND NEW CAR. I don't understand how they are still in business.
I had a notice for my new VW Polo and booked it in for the recommended check up. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I took advantage of their free drop off service, the driver was also very friendly and helpful. The service team contacted me as soon as the check up was complete and the car is ready to go. They explained, clearly, what is to happen from here when I collected the car. #reviewtowin
