The service side of Whirlpool has turned into a dog's breakfast - they give you phone numbers of service agents that don't answer their phones and a parts supplier that appears to be the joke of the appliance parts industry. So on that note, we loved our fridge and would have purchased another Whirlpool because it is a great product, but if you can't supply back up, it's not worth the headache. No more from this consumer.
Well, thanks for that, I thought it was me!! I have a whirlpool fridge that after 12 years i am really happy with it but yeh, now I've just got a problem with the light and OMG! This should just be so simple...
Im not in scoresby,but i rang what i thought was a whirlpool repairer,who didnt know how to fix my fridge,wouldnt read the manual etc,i needed 2 fans not 1.finally rang whirlpool to complain and they hadnt sent him,he had advertised as a whirlpool repairer,not the case.i then rang the fridgeman he asked what model i told him and he said the only repairer for my fridge is wooleys,same as whirlpool told me,beware repairers saying they are whirlpool,they are not,as i saw when got receipt for repairs,and fridge still didnt work.ring the actual whirlpool number,they will give the right repairer.
I've been waiting 5 months for my oven (still in warranty) to be repaired! Still waiting.... Their warranty is worthless, they said the parts would take 6 weeks which was bad enough. Now when I call them they keep saying a supervisor will ring back within 24 hours but they never do. AVOID!
