Customer service is the worse I have experienced anywhere. Very sad too as I was a big fan of Williams Sonoma and their products. WS customer service has taken over 2 months to get back to me on a faulty product (still have not heard back) and I am also going to have to go to fair trade.
I recently made a purchase and within 14 days the price of all items had been reduced. As per WS pricing policy, I requested a price adjustment. I was refused! the excuse I was given is the items had already been reduced. I have lodged a compliant with Department of Fair Trading NSW.
I was also excited to see Williams-Sonoma come to Sydney but their Bondi Junction store doesn't have anywhere near the range of goods that the US store has. If you try to buy online from the US store you are blocked from posting to Australia. So in fact it turns out that Australian customers are disadvantaged by having this Bondi Junction store.
Like some of the other reviewers I was excited to have Williams Sonoma here in Australia but have had nothing but trouble with their customer service. First shipment was not packed properly and got broken. Fortunately it was replaced. Then second shipment the item was faulty and getting a return involved three phone calls and still counting. The customer service is done overseas and are not fulfilled from the Bondi Store.
