Choose one of the dishes from a selection of their most popular street food options or make your own dish by choosing your preferred noodle, sauce and protein. There is also the one rice dish for non-noodlers.
We ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Teriyaki Udon Noodles With Beef and Satay Hokkien Noodles With Chicken. Service is pretty fast despite a constant flow of takeaway orders.
YUM!!! This concept is great: choose your noodle type, choose your sauce/ cooking style, choose your meat - get a delicious stir fry cooked how you like it. My personal favourite is the Malay (style), Egg (noodle) with chicken & prawn. This will set me back around $13 for a tasty, healthy and filling meal. Also highly recommend their laksa ($12.50 for seafood or prawn with extra vegetables) which is rich and tasty, and excellent portion sizes. Great value quality food that doesn't make you feel like you're getting what you pay for, you're getting great food for only a small amount of money. Great for eat in or takeaway. Also have a rewards program - get stamps and every 10th meal is free. Very helpful when you're counting down to pay day!
Quite a good concept in noodle dining. There are the usual noodle and wonton choices already made up. There are also, for the game of us, 3 choices, meat, noodle and sauce. This is then made on the spot for the freshest experience. The staff here are fast, friendly and welcoming. I eat there and takeaway quite often and I cannot fault the Balmain store.
