Absolutely hopeless. This company is completely inept. Built a house with 30 trades, and this is by far the worst trade I engaged - by a country mile. Vcat, a lawyer, 100s of emails and many many months without heating and it finally got sorted. Everyone I dealt with within the office had absolutely zero idea on how to deliver a service. No communication or ownership over errors -
all my fault apparently. Given the issues we had, it wasn't until the second last day that a 'manager' finally turned up on site. I'd suggest they go back to chopping firewood or selling a product where customer service is minimal. They really should be embarrassed by their efforts or lack there of. I don't know if this attitude stems from the owner, however if this surprises him, I challenge him to have a beer with me so we can chat about it all. In the meantime, I implore you not to use this company. Complete waste of time and energy.
Steve provided good objective advice on the appropriate model and how best to install the internal unit on a difficult inner wall on a concrete slab.
Woodpecker also arranged for the electricians to install 2 wall powerpoints and 2 wall lights while installing the air conditioning units.
A good local plasterer for associated renovation work was recommended.
Price on the Daikin reverse cycle air conditioner was competitive.
Kim was terrific in keeping us up to date with all timelines.
Most pleasing was Woodpecker's ability to quote and complete the job at short notice before we went on holidays.
Outstanding service by Jacquie and Brad by helping us make the decision changing our open fire into a more effecient Regency inbuilt wood heater, so impressed by the service and knowledge that the following day I took 85 yr old mother in concerning update her split system on the advice they gave with the Daikin split systems we ended purchasing that as well, at no time did the rush her they took their gave her options.

Very disappointed with the lack of follow up, my husband runs a business and quotes were promised as were return calls and nothing ever happened. go elsewhere if you are considering shopping here. . tried to shop local but they dont care. creates a flow on unreliable effect and we dont want to be part of that. Went out of the area to another provider and they were more than helpful.
Good range and helpful sales staff BUT after sales service is disgraceful.
A Heatandglo XLR PLUS $6500 unit installed a little over a year ago stopped working (in late May).
First contact basically fobbed me off with"logged service call-wait for a call".Second call takes details and announces there is a FOUR week delay in getting a service man to attend.This is not service.
My advice -coming from a service backgroud-spend your money somewhere that understands the concept of customer service.
