Challenges

Do the challenges have to be performed within a certain time frame?
Yes, there is a deadline for all challenges. Please read the challenge description for details.

What businesses can I review when performing my challenges?
You can review any and all local businesses.

Will I be penalised for writing a negative review?
No. When writing a review, it is up to you whether your review is positive or negative – just make sure your review is a true account of your experience with the business and that you follow our review guidelines (https://www.truelocal.com.au/cms/ratings-reviews/).

What happens if I have any problems redeeming rewards?
Please contact the Local Rewards Coordinator, Krystal at krystal.ng@truelocal.com.au.

How often is the leaderboard updated?
The leaderboard will be updated at the end of every challenge.

Rewards

How will I be notified?
You will be sent an email notifying the outcome of your challenge completion after the program end date on Thursday 30 June. If successful, you will receive a confirmation of your reward voucher. This reward voucher will be sent within 10 working days of challenge confirmation.

How long are the reward vouchers valid for?
Vouchers: Vouchers are only valid until the voucher expiry date specified on the voucher or by the provider, and are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the provider. Once awarded, the Promoter is not be liable for any voucher that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.

Tickets: Tickets are only valid for the date or period specified on the tickets or by the provider, and are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the provider. Once awarded, the Promoter is not be liable for any ticket that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.

Is there a history log of what I have purchased?
No, however all purchases will be confirmed in writing via email with our community manager.

When will I receive my rewards?
You will be notified when you have qualified for a reward the day after each challenge due date. Distribution of rewards will differ depending on its type:

E-vouchers: will be distributed immediately upon notification.

VISA Reloadable Cards: will be sent via snail mail. The recharge amount will be loaded onto your VISA card once you have received and activated it. Please note that it may take up to two weeks for the money to appear on your card.

What happens if I forget my username or password?
You can reset this via Facebook or True Local login page; just follow the prompts to reset.

Why does my profile on www.truelocal.com.au have a local stars badge?
Because you are participating in an incentivised community program, we have highlighted this on our True Local site. We value your feedback, and think our other users will too, which is why we have made you a local star for the local rewards program.
