Owner/Manager and A-grade mechanic, Glenn, (Jim's son) along with office manager Teresa now operate the business with the same high quality and attention to detail that the business is renowned for. In fact, the business is still on the same site where Jim first opened his workshop doors. With the long-serving staff, Glenn and his team guarantee the reliable repair and maintenance of vehicles to the highest standard. Senior mechanic, Terry Smith has been loyal to the business since 1976. Having served his Apprenticeship under Jim, Terry is skilled in carburettor overhauls, repairs and wheel alignments. Terry enjoys working on classic vehicles. Three generations of loyal customers stand testament to the first class workmanship and customer service of Jim Chaillon's Auto Service. The workshop has maintained ongoing membership of the Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTAQ), the Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers (IAME) and the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC), which outlines the dedication to the upkeep of the business. Glenn and the team continue to improve their skills and knowledge by regularly investing in the right training, technical equipment and tools required to maintain customer vehicles. As a whole, the Jim Chaillon's Auto Service team has a combined continuous trade experience of more than 70 years.
