There is the famous Pretoria Hotel which faces both the riverfront and your shack, the Mannum Hotel for a mid range meal, the Mannum Motel does a fabulous Sunday brekkie. Then of course the bakery, the takeways or cafe's.
If you don't have your own, you can hire everything from a canoe to a ski boat at the SA Ski Boat centre in the main street. A canoe is a wonderful way to discover the mighty Murray River.
If that sounds too exhausting, take a short cruise with Jester, or on selected dates the restored paddle steamer the Mary-Ann. Both are inexpensive ways to take in the sights.
If you are visiting on the during the first Sunday of the month, you can wander through the Trash n Treasure. No matter if you miss it, there are plenty of bric a brack shops in Mannum to discover.
Further afield you might like to visit the Mannum waterfalls (best during winter) or Noa Noa Landing, the spit the first paddle steamer was launched into the Murray River from.
The the end of your days, pour your favourite drink, sit on the deck and watch life on the river pass you by. You might even spot the Murray Princess.
