  • I rented a brand new Hyundi Elantra from Ascot. They offered me an extraordinary rate for a continous monthly rental. 6 weeks in they contacted me to advise they had to move the monthly payment date forward, and if I didnt pay immediatley I would have to return the car. Not a problem, I returned the car. One month later they wrote to me that they had found a small crack in the windscreen, and would retain my bond. This crack wasnt mentioned when I returned the car, apparently having been found the next day by the detailer. . Beware.
    • you have an issue here but the fault lies on the toll company, Ascot Car Rental offer great rates and service, this review is about damage and i believe even the company has a right to tell their side of the story.
  • i own a mechanical workshop and i have rented with Ascot Car Rental many many times, when i have a client who requires a car while i repair their car i rent a new car from Ascot Car Rental, as i have a business they offer me a great corporate rate of only $29 per day for a new hyundai i20 or similar for $39 per day for a new toyota camry or similar, great rates compared to the other rental companies in the market place, they deliver the car to my business and pick the car up when the client is finished with the car. All my clients are happy and i always tell me friends to rent from Ascot as the rental deals cannot be beaten, at the moment i have 6 cars on rent from Ascot and they always provide me with the best service and always look after my clients, i have rented with Ascot for 24 months now and have never had any problems or issues like i had with another rental company that is why i looked and luckily found Ascot Car Rental, i highly recommend Ascot for your rental needs for personal or business you cannot get a better deal.
    • you can't make everybody happy but i am one happy client who highly recommends Ascot Car Rental, you don't seem to mention all the great reviews they receive? i think your fight should be with the toll companies not the car rental firm, you should write negative reviews about the toll companies as their hardware sometimes has issues and you agreed to their mistake......
  • Do not rent from them!! They have had my deposit since November and will not reply to my emails (I rented whilst on Holiday and am now back in the UK so cannot call) The car and service themselves were good, but i am still awaiting the return of over 200 AUD. Warning people - go to someone else.

    • see you admitted that the toll company made an error not the car rental company, so how long did it take the toll company to issue the violation back to the car rental company and how long did it then take the toll company to process the violation in your name? this can take months so you can see who is to blame here, the toll company should take the blame for this not the car rental firm, other than this fine issue you are well aware they have great service because all you complained about was the process time which should fall on the toll company not the car rental, they just rent cars they do not administer toll violations and errors.
