  • Gawler Street Cafe

    Cafes Mount Barker, SA
The Gawler Street Cafe is located midway along the main St of Mt Barker shopping centre. Very hard to miss, as outside on the footpath, there are tables and orange chairs. On arrival we were ushered to a seat, and given a menu. We had toasted sandwiches with a very good coffee. No complaints about the service, but unfortunately the acoustics are not good, as we found it very noisy, not relaxing, with shaking loose flooring as customers and staff walked past.
  • Morning Loaf Bakery

    Bakeries Bordertown, SA
A large bakery diner, with table and chairs along a wall. We had lunch, a steak and mushroom pie and a egg & bacon roll, with two coffees. Before we were served we waited for quite some time in a long queue. We found the pie was mince and not very hot. We found the service was counter only. The seating was not comfortable. Reluctant to return.
  • La Porchetta

    Restaurants Ballarat, VIC
We arrived in the rush hour, yet we found the service was excellent. We ordered a Fettuccine Carbonara and a Pizza with the lot. Two wonderful dinners with out a lot of delay. As we were driving travellers, asked for Non Alcoholic beer, but from there alcohol display no non alcohol beer. Good call, the pizza was worth writing about fabulous.
