John Coolican and Derek Allan are highly qualified and skilled specialist orthodontists who give great attention to the needs of patients of all ages in an individual, friendly and inclusive way. They give each patient their personal care and attention at every visit. Both see it as important to keep abreast of the latest developments in orthodontic techniques and appliances.

Derek grew up in Chatswood. He attended St Aloysius' College and then completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Sydney with Honours in 2003, having been awarded a Distinguished Undergraduate Scholarship.
For three years he worked as a general dentist in Tamworth. He values the experience he gained while contributing his dental expertise in Nepal, Vanuatu, Walgett and Alice Springs. Through volunteering he has enjoyed assisting people from all walks of life.

Our patients experiences vary depending on the necessary treatment but the general treatment plan is as follows; the first appointment, records, a treatment plan appointment, installation of braces, and finally fitting retainers.
We can fix many problems associated with teeth and jaws. However for the most accurate response we would need to see your teeth in person, so please book yourself in to see us.
We offer all kinds of plates and braces, including metal and ceramic braces, as well as Invisalign.
