COTA Tasmania (Council on the Ageing TAS Inc.) in Hobart is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing the rights and interests of Tasmanians aged 50 and over. As the peak body for older Tasmanians, we advocate for their rights, promote positive aging, and challenge age stereotypes. Our services include policy and advocacy, community activities, elder abuse awareness and prevention, and Care Finder – Aged Care Navigation. We strive to support independence, foster inclusion, and ensure older Tasmanians can access the care they need.
