I have been under the care of Professor Spark for 5 years now. I was very fortunate to be referred to him by another specialist and I haven't looked back since. Professor Spark is a very skillful and dedicated surgeon with a very calming and friendly approach to his patients. He is a very kind, thoughtful and compassionate person who cares immensely for his patients. He explains everything in detail and in simple terms to understand of any procedures, issues and concerns and his follow-up care is amazing. I still see Professor Spark for his on-going care to this day and will be for some time to come. My wife and I thank Professor Spark, he is amazing, and his very helpful, friendly and obliging staff at Adelaide Specialist Group.

I have been under the care of Prof Spark for about 18 months now. I will always be grateful that he agreed to take my case when I presented to Emergency on a weekend. I could have been turned away but he didn’t hesitate to come in and see me on a Saturday afternoon and had promptly arranged a team to perform surgery the following morning. His patients are his priority.



My case has been particularly challenging and not straightforward for various reasons, but Prof Spark has not left any stone unturned, and continues to provide quality care. He always takes the time to explain in simple terms the issues, procedures and risks involved, and when I have had concerns, has taken the time to speak with me and do what was necessary to put my mind at ease. I have always felt safe and genuinely cared for by Prof Spark and his team.



The admin staff have always treated me so kindly. They have been patient, understanding and have listened to my concerns, and promptly found resolutions when required. They have gone over and above to help support me through what has been a very challenging time.



I’m thankful for the care so far.

I wanted to write a recommendation in regards to my treatment for my health issues from Professor Sparks.

I will, for my confidentiality, not disclose my illness but rather how i was/am treated by Prof Sparks and his team.



First up the guy cares.

Unlike most doctors he listens - not just for the systems but also the struggle both mentally and physical.

He has a even, calm approach as his mannerism and makes you feel like you are heard.

Being not from a medical background (me), he helps by explaining and even drawing diagrams so it takes the confusion out and making it very understandable. (wish my doctors would)



I would highly recommend Prof Sparks to anyone with any Vascular issues - He's the Man.



I would also like to commend the ladies on reception. Not only are they polite and welcoming but have made all my bookings with other agencies (Ultra Sounds, Hospital bookings) for me. They rock!



My health battles are on going but due the the level of care and treatment Prof Sparks is providing, I'm finally seeing light at the end of a very long tunnel - Thanks Mate, Cheers. Jeff xx

We have known Prof Spark almost five years now since being referred to him by our local GP,and without his professional help and guidance over these years I’m sure my husband would not be up and walking around like he is today.Having to finally have a leg amputated due to diabetes and ongoing issues,two years ago,Professor Spark did everything he could to try and save the leg ,knowing that once it was off there was no getting it back again.We have found him to be the utmost gentleman,as someone I could ring and talk to at anytime,and I would thoroughly recommend him to everyone We are still seeing him as to this day for his ongoing guidance..
