Careless and no follow-up. Prescribe dangerous drug causing long term health issue just to help with acne. Very negligent!

At the end of last year when I came in for a prescription the girls working there failed to notify me that my referral letter expired and assured me that it's ok I can just have a new one issued and medicare will refund my money. Well turns out that a GP can't back date referral letters. In addition, I was charged a higher fee for this particular appointment. I asked why was the amount changed and the receptionist said 'Dr Rich charges a higher fee if you don't have a referral'. I said well do you not have some sort of system that you notify your clients if it expires. No real answer was given.

I came in the following day and a different receptionist said that the referral letter did not expire, and that it's still valid until February. So I asked what about the addition amount that I paid, if I have a referral letter. The girl said that what I was told was incorrect and that probably he charged me more because he gave me extra services. I said no he didnt. He did nothing extra and I insisted that she provide a breakdown of the additional $40 that was charged. She became quite rude to me and behaved like she wanted me to leave and kept repeating he probably just did something extra I dont know what. Since it was the last day of the year I decided to leave it and requested that someone call me back and give me breakdown for the additional services when the office reopens.

Of course no one called me back and I had to ring them again and explain my story. The manager called me back 3 days later and I have to say she is the absolute rudest person I have ever had to deal with. 3 seconds into me explaining what happened she interrupted me and just starts speaking over me (she did that several times). She had no interest in my side and just wanted to protect herself. She said that I misheard, misunderstood and it was miscommunication from my behalf because the girls there wouldnt say these things. Pretty much called me a liar. She then gave me version number 3 for the ad

Dr Michael Rich is a very compassionate MAN who has shown a real INTEGRITY patience and understanding. He treated me and my scar and is being so supportive towards me my family and even my nervous brakedown I had. He improved my scar and was always too patient and honest. If a dr has a good heart this is a sign that he is a real DOCTOR...
also his staff are also patient and very understanding when talking to us patients who are insecure and they made me feel more secure and accepted for who I am. I think dr Michael rich is a real man and real doctor from heart because he does not run away from challenges that patients like me present with. He is not scared of challengies and will deal with any issues a patient is struggling with. He will offer a shoulder and help
