Is my personal property insured when stored in the complex?
No, insurance coverage for your personal property in your storage space is entirely your responsibility. We do not provide insurance for your belongings under any circumstances. Our facilities are protected by 24hr camera surveillance equipment and security patrolled by night, ensuring your items is safe and secure at all times.
Are there any restrictions on what I can store in my storage space?
Yes, everything you store in your storage space must be in compliance with all state and federal laws. You are not permitted to store anything that is flammable, hazardous or poisonous in nature, nor foodstuff or perishable items. If in doubt, please consult management. Active Self Storage offers a full range of storage unit options to suit any of your self-storage requirements. Combines with a high level of security, flood proof location and a rodent and pest free environment.
Do I need to supply a lock for my storage space?
Yes, you must supply your own lock for your storage space. You are the only one who has possession of the keys to the lock for your storage space.

We stored household goods for over 2 years while we had moved south. Livio was tremendously helpful in providing the storage and support whenever we needed it. In addition, we fully expected to find mould etc after two years of quite wet weather. However the storage was dry and cool and everything was in perfect condition. The unit was easy to access. We could not recommend Active Self Storage in Atherton enough, and have no hesitation in recommending it as the perfect storage solution.

I used Active Self Storage for more than 3 years having up to 3 lockers during that period.
The service is excellent with a customer based approach and the management were friendly and responsive to my needs. Access is easy and I used a furniture removals semi for my first load. I never had an issue with accessing the lockers in the time i was there.
After purchasing and moving to a permanent home I found every treasure stored to be in perfect condition. One of my best decisions was to use Active. Best of luck in the future guys.

I am leaving a 5-star review, as not just a great business but an excellent service at affordable prices. Storage shed quality and customer service 100%. I had my belongings in storage for well over 12 months going on to 2 years and my belongings are still in good condition as the day i put them in storage. I wouldnt have chosen any other place in atherton or far north queensland for that matter. The storage sheds are under 24 hr security and have a locked access gate which makes it safe and secure. I would like to thank the owners of the storage, not only just for good customer service, but keeping my belongings safe and secure. I wish them a happy Easter

Have had my furniture and household good stored for over 4 1/2 years. Never an issue. Always accessible. Moved out the other day and there was absolutely no mould, mildew or even vermin mess. Would recommend to anyone for the best storage facility in the area.

Stored our life’s possessions with Active Self Storage Solutions for a year whilst living abroad and have come back to everything in perfect condition - no mould whatsoever, no creepy crawlies. We live in Cairns and figured that for the extra 45 minute drive it was well worth it to store our furniture etc. in a drier climate. Well it paid off and we couldn’t be happier. Fantastic service - would highly recommend.

I utilized a 6M x 3M shed for 18 months to store furniture and other household items. Complex is very secure, and on my regular visits found it always clean and tidy and had easy access. No problems at all with vermin, so facility must be treated regularly. A credit to the owners who provided personalized and efficient service.

We've been away for over 6 months travelling and after much research, stored all of our furniture, trailer, and motor bike into one of these units. Our concern was that, no matter how good a unit was, with the climate in the Tablelands, what would things be like when we came back. We were delighted to find that everything was exactly the same as if we'd only left it the day before - no dust, no damp and no insects of any sort. We highly recommend the security, ease of access, height, construction, cleanliness, weatherproofing, as well as the professionalism and friendliness of the owners.
