Can I claim through Medicare?
Currently patients with certain chronic conditions are entitled to a set number of Allied Health Professional visits per year, including podiatry, through Medicare. You will need to visit your GP and ask whether you are eligible for the Enhanced Primary Care scheme. If so, they will provide you with a specific Team Care Arrangement (TCA) referral.
Do I need a referral?
In most cases a referral is not necessary. You will need a Doctors referral if you are entitled to: A rebate from Medicare under the Enhanced Primary Care Program, visits through Department of Veterans Affairs if you have a DVA White or Gold Card, or treatment or assessment under Workers Compensation.
What should I bring?
Referral letter and / medical reports (if applicable). Current footwear, old footwear that has possible wear patterns has been a source of concern (if applicable). Previously used / supplied inserts or orthotics (if applicable), X-Rays, Ultrasounds, MRI or CT scans (if applicable), Private Health Fund Card.

Can I claim a rebate on my Health fund?
We offer HICAPS facility, which means if you are covered for Podiatry through your Health Fund, we can process the rebate by swiping the health fund card, at the time of the consultation. You only need to pay the gap amount.
