Brooklyn Cold Storage has been in operation for over a decade. We specialize in third party logistics for food importers and processors of frozen and chilled inventory. Our commitment is to provide our clients “Storage with Service”. What we do Our expertise is in the unloading, handling, storing, order picking and transport of frozen and chilled food. We are Members of the Refrigerated Warehousing and Transport Association. Our Facility We are located close to the Port of Melbourne, arterial freeways and major distribution centres. Our modern facility has the capacity to store 7,000 pallets of frozen product and 500 pallets of chilled goods. Containers are unloaded in a refrigerated environment and in addition there is a refrigerated marshalling area for the assembling of orders. The premises is managed with the aid of computerized inventory and temperature monitoring systems. The premises is an Approved AQIS warehouse and is also HACCP approved. Our diverse fleet of refrigerated trucks has the capacity to transport loads from just one pallet up to fourteen anywhere in the Melbourne Metropolitan area. Our trucks are Prime Safe Approved. Our People We have experienced permanent on site staff to handle all the needs of our clients. Managing Director James Clark and Warehouse Supervisor Peter Anderson have in excess of 20 years experience in the cold storage and logistics industries. Both are freely available to manage client queries and requirements. We believe personal service is important and gives the client flexibility and comfort in logistical expectations.
