      General Info

      The aim is to provide you with some information on your condition and the medical and surgical options available.

      Dr John Elphinstone is a fully qualified ear, nose and throat surgeon. He attended the university of Queensland in Brisbane having completed his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery with honours. General surgical training followed through the public health system throughout Queensland. Dr Elphinstone became a fellow of the royal Australasian college of surgeons in 2003.

      We provide a comprehensive service covering all aspects of ear, nose and throat and head and neck surgery for adults and children, Dr Elphinstone has a special interest in head and neck surgery, functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty including sinus surgery and the management of snoring, Facilities for paediatric and adult audiology services, Auditory processing analysis and management.
