      Tax & Accountants. Byford Accountants was established in 1993 and has a team of 8 highly qualified accountants with combined experience of over 110 years in taxation. We also have a wonderful administrative support team that are able to assist you at any time. Our mission is to provide a professional, honest and reliable service in all taxation and accounting matters to our clients. We have great respect for our clients and aim to meet all of their specific needs.

      How long does it take to get my tax return completed?

      An individual tax return can be completed on the day in an appointment. A business tax return will have a longer time period, please speak to a member of our team for an estimation.


      How long does it take to get my refund?

      It generally takes the ATO about 10 business to days transfer your refund to you.


      How much do you charge?

      Most of our simple individual tax returns have a set fee. There are additional charges for capital gains and rental properties. Our business tax returns are based on the time required to be spent on your job. Our rates are very competitive. One of our team can give you a quote.


      I need to do my personal tax return, what records do I need to bring?

      Please contact a member of our team. We will email you a checklist to assist you with putting the information together for your personal tax return. You can also find the Checklist available on our website under Resources.


      I need to do my business financials and tax returns, what records do I need to bring?

      Please contact a member of our team. We will email you a checklist to assist you with putting the information together. We will also need access to your accounting or bookkeeping system. You can also find our Business Checklist available on our website under Resources.


      When do I need to lodge my tax by?

      Please contact our office to find out when your lodgement date is. Our admin team can assist you with this.

      We abide by the highest standards of integrity, honesty, ethics and innovation, our team holds accreditation and memberships with IPA, NTAA, CPA, SMSF Advisor Network and we are also Registered Tax Agents.

      Appointments

      We offer appointments in our office or over the phone, alternatively you can complete your tax via email or you can send in your documents via post or deliver them to our office. Please refer to our Checklists on our website.


      Can you take my accounting fees out of my refund?

      Yes we offer to take our fees from your refund at no additional cost to you.
