Cambridge Park Medical Centre

We have been attending Cambridge Park Medical Centre for several years, but unfortunately, the quality of care has significantly declined. It has become increasingly clear that the practice prioritizes bringing in doctors on visas over ensuring they deliver meaningful care and support to the community.



During one visit, I booked a double appointment for a health care plan and paid $150 out of pocket for an extra-long (triple) appointment to obtain a prescription I’ve been using for years (a contraceptive pill) and to discuss anxiety-related concerns. The doctor spent over 15 minutes researching the contraceptive medication to educate himself, leaving no time to address the anxiety concerns. He advised discussing these at another time. To make matters worse, I later discovered they had only issued a one-month supply of the prescription, forcing me to schedule another appointment unnecessarily.



More recently, my daughter was seen by a new doctor who seemed unfamiliar with the Australian healthcare system and required significant guidance. She needed a health care plan, yet there was no effort to interact with her or build any rapport. In fact, the doctor was rude and dismissive, which made the experience even more upsetting and frustrating.



It’s disheartening to witness a medical centre more focused on ticking boxes and processing doctors through the system rather than providing genuine care to their patients. As a long-time client of this practice, I expected much better for myself, my family, and for the many people who rely on this as their only local medical centre.

I have recently moved to this practice from out of state. I was amazed by the courteous welcoming the male receptionist gave our family and the young female receptionist was equally helpful and accommodating

I can never get an appointment when I'm sick. No use making an appointment a week after I'm actually ill. Bulk billing only exists if your an elderly person worst medical centre

My opinion,this practise has the most brilliant receptionist ever!!!! I'm speaking in regard to shaun :) he goes out of he's way for the patience :) :) brilliant just brilliant :) :)
