Urologic surgeon, uro-oncology, advanced robotic and laparoscopic urology.
Dr Leslie trained with world leaders in robotic surgery at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles and offers robotic surgery for prostate cancer, kidney cancer and bladder cancer. In addition, he performs robotic surgery for kidney obstruction (PUJO, ureteric strictures), adrenal lesions and for BPH (benign enlargement of the prostate).
Dr Scott Leslie is a urological surgeon with expertise in robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery and in the treatment of patients with urological cancers. He is focused on achieving the best outcomes for his patients by utilising the latest surgical technology in his practice and by listening to what his patients and their families desire from their treatment. He understands that patients' goals extend beyond cure of their disease and include achieving the best functional results.
Dr Scott Leslie primarily treats patients with prostate, kidney and bladder cancer, but also has an interest in surgery for kidney stones as well as for enlarged prostates causing urinary difficulties. Dr Leslie is committed to teaching and regularly instructs in robotic surgery for urologists throughout Australia who are learning these novel surgical techniques.
Robotic Prostatectomy is increasingly accepted as preferred surgical approach for men with clinically significant, localised prostate cancer. The 3D magnification and precise, wristed movements provided by the robot allow for preservation of the continence mechanism as well as the nerves for erectile function thereby maintaining excellent quality of life following the surgery. With minimal discomfort after the robotic procedure, Dr Leslie's patients are typically back home on day one or two.

Do you provide robotic partial nephrectomy?
Dr Leslie is one of the few surgeons offering robotic partial nephrectomy for complex renal tumors and in select cases can perform a 'zero-ischemia' robotic partial nephrectomy for optimal renal function preservation.
Can you tell about your specialisation?
Dr Scott Leslie is a urological surgeon with expertise in robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery and in the treatment of patients with urological cancers.
How does robotic partial nephrectomy helps?
Robotic partial nephrectomy is performed for renal cancers where the vast majority of the kidney is preserved, and only the tumour-bearing portion of the kidney excised. This allows maximal preservation of renal function.
Is robotic prostatectomy safe?
Robotic prostatectomy is increasingly accepted as the preferred surgical approach for men with clinically significant, localised prostate cancer. With minimal discomfort after the robotic procedure, Dr Leslie's patients are typically back home on day one or two following the operation.
